Green Ditsy Floral hand block printed cotton scarf
This ethical green and blue ditsy floral scarf is made from light weight cotton. It has been hand block printed by artisans, and sewn in our Fair Trade factory in Bangalore, India. This scarf is made from reclaimed deadstock fabric, abandoned by brands in Jaipur, India, with profits going back to support local communities and preserve the art of traditional crafts.
During the Covid-19 Pandemic we are supporting our Fair Trade factory in India and all profits from the purchase of this scarf will go directly to support the employees at our factory in Bangalore. Each scarf purchased provides an employee with 2 days worth of salary, enabling them to pay their rent and buy food sufficient for themselves and their extended family.
One of the workers, Ammu, recently said that the money she has received so far has been the only lifeline for all of her extended family. Her husband, sister’s family of four and her brother are all out of work, and they also support their ailing grandparents.
